My Name is Debbie Lawrence and I am 37 years old with two children ages 9 and 11.

I became interested in complementary medicine as I was always looking for more natural alternatives for my children and was introduced to the wonderful world of alternative medicine. 

My career in Holistic Therapies started with Reiki Healing back in 2002. At the time I only used Reiki on my family and friends, however I soon realized the potential of Reiki and wanted to be able to help more people. I trained to Practitioner Level in 2003. I have now completed my Reiki training, taking my Advanced Reiki and Master/Teacher training at Stone Henge in May 2005.

Whilst researching alternative therapies and taking a diploma in Aromatherapy in 2003, I soon became interested in other treatments and qualified in Indian Head Massage and Aromatherapy Facial Treatments.

After experiencing the fantastic effects of using Hopi Ear Candles to treat my daughters glue ear problems I qualified in Auricular Therapy to bring this simple yet effective technique to others.

In 2004/2005 I spent a year training with ITEC (International Therapy Examination Council) in Anatomy, Physiology and Holistic Massage and passed with a distinction in June that year. In May 2006 I qualified in Woo Gar Therapy, a massage combining Eastern and Western techniques to ease pain. It has given me the knowledge to perform a more focused, deep tissue massage, and I have had fantastic success in this area.

I currently work from the Cedar Clinic in Marlow, Buckinghamshire where I share my time between running the center and practicing my therapies, I have also opened a clinic in St Katharine's, Parmoor and am enjoying working from such wonderfully peaceful surroundings.

We have recently started a Psychic & WellBeing Fayre thats runs four times a year at Liston Hall in Marlow. Due to the sucess of the first two events we have planned a larger event for June 20th 2009, we have found it is a great way to bring like minded people together and hope they will continue to grow.
