Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. This form of hands-on-healing is based on an ancient art of 'healing by touch'. this healing art had become forgotten until re-discovered by Dr Mikao Usui in the late 1800's.

How Does Reiki Work?

Reiki energy is channelled through the Practitioner and into the Recipient, this energy has consciousness and awareness, "it knows what is needed". The energy works on the Mind, the Body and the Spirit. Reiki energy goes to the deepest levels of a persons being from where many illnesses originate.

Reiki is a Gentle, Safe, Natural and Holistic way of treating disease and it will complement and increase the effectiveness of other forms of medication and treatment.

During a Reiki treatment a pleasant feeling of warmth may occur along with the sensation of deep relaxation, in many cases the recipient will fall asleep.

How long is a Reiki Treatment?
