Located in Parmoor, near Freith (Henley-On-Thames) this historic house stands in 12 acres of grounds in an area of great scenic beauty and abundant wildlife. The rural tranquillity of the Chilterns, combined with a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere, make St. Katharine's an ideal destination for groups and individuals, for both residential or day visits.
The house is run by the Sue Ryder Prayer Fellowship, an independent registered charity whose aim is to provide a facility that is ecumenical and non-denominational. The house is open to people of all faiths or of none.
On entering the house, visitors find themselves in the panelled entrance hall - with its antique furniture, grand piano and stained glass windows. In winter guests are greeted by the sight of a blazing log fire.
Two sitting rooms offer a pleasant ambience for relaxation, and the secluded double roomed library provides further space for quiet time.
Holistic Therapies
Monday to Friday 10am - 3pm and weekends 2pm - 7pm (other times are available on request) the Yellow Sitting Room is transformed into a tranquil treatment room for you to enjoy a range of complementary therapies during your visit to St Katharine's. Whether you have come for a treatment, to spend the day or are staying overnight the treatments are available to all at fantastic reduced rates.

You do not have to spend the day at St Katharine's to benefit from the special treatment rates however if you choose to spend the day it costs £30.00 and includes tea, coffee & biscuits on arrival a fabulous two course lunch and afternoon tea and cake. Spend the day as you wish, taking in the peace a quiet of the estate, soaking up the atmosphere of the house and indulging in some wonderful treatments.
